Special Children's League - Whittier Committee, is a passionate group dedicated to making a significant impact in the lives of individuals with special needs and their families. Founded on the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, we strive to create a supportive community where every voice is heard, valued, and celebrated.

Our mission, "A small group making a big difference for our special needs community," reflects our commitment to supporting inclusive programs, resources, and advocacy services for children with diverse abilities. We understand the unique challenges that families face, and we are here to offer guidance, support, and friendship.

WHAT WE DO

Since our inception in 1946, we've worked to expand our causes and help those who need assistance throughout the Whittier Area. SCL strives to educate, support, and increase awareness in our city and neighboring communities regarding the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
